GORILRead the country list
Local plans cover a particular country; regional plans cover a defined group. Global plans can cover a broader list, but not every country. Two products described as European may cover different destinations. Include stopovers where you leave the airport and short visits as well as your main destination.
Compare validity too
Compare the combined cost of separate local plans with a regional plan’s price, allowance and validity. Regional is not automatically cheaper. Open the GORIL coverage list and check every stop. Network changes between countries can require a brief reconnection. An excluded country needs a suitable new plan; changing phone settings cannot add coverage.
Your practical checklist
- Include stopovers and short visits.
- Verify every country in the coverage list.
- Compare equivalent data and validity.
Make the next step yours.
